Kelis(KA'lees) says in a court filing that she wants soon-to-be ex-husband Nas (NAHZ) to pay for tens of thousands of dollars in baby supplies.

Kelis Rogers is scheduled to deliver the former couple's first child next month. She is seeking $20,000 to buy strollers, cribs and other baby supplies for homes in Los Angeles and New York.

She is also seeking money to pay for a baby nurse, nanny and other staff. Her filing states she didn't work much in 2008 and is reliant on Nas, whose real name is Nasir Jones, to maintain her lifestyle and care for the child.

A phone message left for Jones' attorney was not immediately returned
Wednesday.

The couple was married in July 2003 and Rogers filed for divorce in May.

THE HANGOVER

So i watched The Hangover today @ the theatre and i gotta say i really enjoyed the movie. It was a toss-up between that and Land of the Lost and i think i made the right choice.

One observation- it seems that people who don't party alot regulary end up doing the craziest shit when they finally do. I'm guessing that's why even though i may blackout and wake up inside my car more often than i'd like to admits, i've never gotten THAT crazy. but hey, it's just a movie right?

Oh yeah, just had Fuddruckers for the first time in my life and that was a great food experience. The ordering part left something else to be desired though. If i'm paying $10 for a burger i feel i should have a waiter taking my order not a guy at the register. I also didn't realize they had buffalo and ostrich burgers on deck. I ordered the buffalo burger and it was damn good. Not cheeseburger baby good but that's asking for alot in my opinion. next time i'm there i'm definitely going for the ostrich....

The Lakers won game two over orlando in overtime even though they should have lost in regulation. It's looking like destiny may be on their side this year. I'm just dreading having to hear those crazy fanatics for a whole year if they do win the championship...

NBA CHAMPIONSHIP PREDICTION...

as much as i've been giving kobe & co. a hard time throughout the playoffs(i consider it tough love), i want it to be known i am a laker fan since the showtime era. The reason for my current mood with the team is because of the kobe/shaq fiasco which i blame on both of them. shaq,however, did win one without the kobester making my displeasure with kobe even greater since he hasn't won one without shaq.

however, this can all come to an end if kobe can come through in this series.

my prediction: LAKERS IN 6.(don't make me look bad guys, seriously)

June. Summer. Rain. One of these kids is doing his own thing for real. I'm glad i'm not working in the rain today. Otherwise, a happy man i would not be.

My predictions for the rain:

1. SUV drivers continue going 85+ mph on the fwy leading to accidents that would have been avoidable. Unfortunately, they believe the bigger the vehicle, the more protected they are. RIGHT...

2. Women who spent upwards of $100 to get their hair did today are crying uncontrollably into a gallon of chocolate chip cookie dough ice-cream.

3. Kids wearing those skinny jeans got them wet resulting in further shrinkage.

Always a bonus NOT to have to go into work. Unfortunately, that's the only time i get to take care of errands. Plus, with the money i spend taking care of those errands, i'm actually paying to have a day off. Damn-isn't it too early to think critically?

Since our washing machine has been on the fritz for about 3 months now, i've been doing my laundry at our local laundramat. NEVER-i repeat-NEVER try to buy a newspaper from those machines out front. quarter swallowing newspaper keeping bastards...

As a result, i was forced to read the free spanish newspaper there. At least there were pictures...
